About this policy

This policy explains how FFXI ToDo handles personal data when you use the site. The site is a planning and community tool for Final Fantasy XI private-server players.

Discord sign-in

You can sign in using Discord. When you do, we receive and store your Discord ID, display name, and, where available, your Discord avatar URL. We use this information to create and identify your FFXI ToDo account, show your profile, and attribute community activity. We do not store your Discord password.

Data you create

We store the planning data needed to provide the features you use, such as your checklists, crafting lists, gearsets, player settings, linkshell memberships and tracker activity, votes, join requests, and any public or shared lists and templates you create. Public or shared content may be visible to other users.

How we use data

We use account and planning data to operate the site, keep your account secure, save your progress, provide community and linkshell features, and maintain or improve the service. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies

FFXI ToDo uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember that you have seen the cookie notice. These cookies are necessary for those features to work. We do not currently use advertising, analytics, or social-media tracking cookies.

Account deletion and retention

You can permanently delete your account from your Profile page. Deletion removes your Discord connection, active sessions, and linked personal content, including your private lists, gearsets, settings, memberships, votes, and tracker data. Public lists or templates that have been copied by other users may remain in those users' copies. Shared templates and their history may also remain available without being associated with your deleted account. Content belonging to another user is not removed when you delete your account.

Sharing

We share data only where needed to provide the service, such as with Discord during the sign-in process, or when you choose to make content public or share it with other users. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Your choices

You can review your account information in your Profile page, sign out at any time, and delete your account as described above. For privacy questions or requests that cannot be completed in the site, contact the FFXI ToDo site operator through the project's usual community contact channel.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or its data practices change. The latest version will always be available on this page, with its update date shown above.
